Module 6 Overview

Being missional means to join with God in God’s ongoing mission in the world. Our endgame in Faithwalking is not just personal transformation for individuals. We believe that the personal transformation work we do is crucial and life-changing, but we also believe that individuals are transforming so that they can serve the common good. In Faithwalking we believe that God invites us to join in God’s mission. God invites us to emulate God’s character and to join in God’s work of love and inclusion. Missional living is the pathway to meaning in life and to the full and abundant life that is God’s intended design.

In this module, you will learn how to live a life of purpose on mission with God. You will learn how to love like Jesus loved and how to serve the common good and work with others to make the world a better place. You will learn how to look for brokenness in the places where you already spend your time. You will learn to think about wholeness being restored and what wholeness might look like.  You will learn how to give your word to big promises, and you will learn how to partner with God in God’s ongoing mission in the places where you live, work, and play.

The content sessions in this module are:

  • Session One: Reflecting the Heart of God
  • Session Two: Shalom
  • Session Three: The Mission of Jesus
  • Session Four: Missional Practices
