Marcos Leon, Leadership Team
Marcos joined the Mission Houston / Faithwalking staff in January 2007 after serving as the Latino Church Relations Coordinator for CityFest Houston with Luis Palau in 2006. Born in Quito, Ecuador, he serves as a Team Leader for the Faithwalking community, with a special emphasis on implementing and facilitating Faithwalking in Spanish. Marcos’ vocational background is in the hospitality industry as a hotel administrator for more than 10 years. He married Julie Taylor in 2011 and has three daughters, Alexa, Hannah, and Claire, and two sons, Lucas and Caleb.

Angela Raley, Operations Administrator
Angela has been on staff with Faithwalking since August 2016 and has been involved with Faithwalking with regard to her own transformation since 2012. Prior to her role with Faithwalking, Angela was a mental health therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Angela grew up in large part overseas as a missionary kid. She is a bibliophile, cinephile, and detective drama aficionado. Besides reading, watching movies, and watching detective shows from all over the world in her free time, she loves spending time with her niece Sophie and her nephews Micah and Sage. Angela is passionate about tearing down walls in the Church between people who are different from each other, racially, socioeconomically, and otherwise. She also loves learning how to live a more contemplative life.

Ken Shuman, Executive Director
Ken is one of Faithwalking’s team leaders and has been on the team since 2013; he was also on the team that started Mission Houston in 1999. Ken is an adjunct professor at the Houston Graduate School of Theology. He is a pastor, life coach, and missional practitioner, an ordained minister, and holds two masters degrees and a Doctor of Ministry degree. Ken is married to Becky, and they have two daughters who are both teachers in the greater Houston area. Ken enjoys movies, reading, travel, college football, college basketball and Texas Hold’em poker.
